The invoices (e-invoices) are then sent as a digital file. This file is an XML file where the structure complies with a certain format so that everyone can see that it is an invoice or credit note.
The network over which these invoices are sent is called PEPPOL (Pan-European Public Procurement On-Line). Software such as Followin' makes it possible to send or receive invoices via this network.
The UBL Viewer in Kyktir allows you to view these digital invoices if you have such an XML file or have downloaded it.

How do I send a digital invoice (UBL e-invoice)?
Before you can send digital UBL invoices, they must first be created. For this you need a program such as Followin' that allows you to create quotes, invoices and credit notes, among other things.
Once you have created an invoice in Followin' you can download, email or send the UBL e-invoice via the PEPPOL network.
How do I receive a digital invoice (UBL e-invoice)?
You also use a program such as Followin' for this, where, after setting it up once, you automatically receive invoices that are sent via the PEPPOL network.
Of course, someone can still email you a UBL invoice in the form of an XML file.
