Debooklet scanned files automatically

In this article we will guide you with the creation of a profile with debooklet functionality.

The goal is to debooklet an incoming file (e.g. a scan). The result of the debooklet will be saved as a PDF file.

Configuration

  1. Navigate to Manage > Workflow > Profiles
  2. Create a profile by clicking Create new and give the profile a name.
  3. Scroll down to the Channels section, select the File-option from the dropdown and click the Add Channel button.
    This will add a channel with file print (pdf) functionality to the profile.
  4. Click the pencil-icon to edit the newly added channel. This will allow you to configure the channel.
  5. In the File Settings section, make sure Convert document to: PDF is selected and fill in a path for the File destination: (e.g.: e:\winking\pscq)
  6. In the Task sequencer section, select Debooklet (Split + sort scanned booklet) and click Add task.
  7. Choose your desired Booklet scan method: Cover page to center or Center to cover page.
  8. At the top click Save to save the configuration.
