System requirements

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 (provided or automatic download).

The PC and operating system must be clean, secure and well maintained.

Server version

The instructions and installation steps of the Server Version are almost exactly the same as those of the client computer. For configuration details of the Server Version, please consult the section covering the Server installation.

Hardware requirements

Modern up-to-date specifications.

Print&Share can run on many Windows PC's or servers with different hardware. As a general guideline we say to at least follow the .NET Framework system requirements, of course needed to run .NET Framework.

In 2021 a regular PC with an Intel Core i5/i7 often has 8GB or 16GB RAM, and a (SSD) harddisk with 256GB-512GB-1TB of diskspace. The more memory, diskspace and better a CPU/GPU is, the smoother the operating system and its applications/services will run.
